Rachel Kahler is a Wasatch High School alumni and University of Utah graduate with a degree in Public Relations and Communications. She spent her early years working in advertising with tech giants Microsoft, VeriSign and TenFold.
Rachel has served the community in many aspects, including working with the Heber Valley Chamber of Commerce, working as a volunteer for the Heber Valley Western Music & Cowboy Poetry Gathering, a rodeo committee member for the Mountain Valley Stampede Rodeo, an event volunteer for the Relay for Life, Director of Events for the Tour of Utah professional bicycle race, a committee member for the Wasatch County School 2018 Boundary Review, a Wasatch School District Community Council member for JR Smith Elementary, Timpanogos Middle School and Wasatch High School and a Steering Committee member of the Heber Envision 2050 project.
She is married to Chad Kahler, a hydrologist for the National Weather Service and raising three outstanding children. Professionally Rachel is the event manager for the Midway Ice Castles and works with the local radio stations, The Peak, 94.5 FM and The Wolf 93.7, as a sales representative. Rachel enjoys snow skiing, hiking and biking, and loves living and recreating in the Wasatch Mountains.
