The Heber City Council has recently passed an ordinance to create a new Open Space and Trails committee to advise the council about open space and trails issues. Details about the committees function can be found in section 2.47 of the Municipal Code.
We are also seeking applicants for the historic preservation commission. This board consists of five members with a demonstrated interest, competence, or knowledge in historic preservation. The day and time of their monthly meeting is to be determined. Guidelines are available in Heber City Municipal Code 2.50.
Interested applicants please submit your resume with a cover letter explaining why you would like to serve, to Mayor Potter at kpotter@heberut.gov. The deadline for applicants to send in applications is December 15th, 2019.
