NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL ELECTION
AND DECLARATION OF CANDIDACY
In accordance with UCA 10-3-301, notice is hereby given that the following elected City positions are to be voted upon in the 2021 Heber City Municipal Election: Mayor and two Council Members (2 Seats Available). Any eligible resident wishing to become a candidate for any of the listed offices must file a Declaration of Candidacy form in person with the Heber City Recorder during the candidate filing period, August 10-17, 2021. The City Recorder office is located at 75 North Main Street, Heber City, UT 84032. The office of the Recorder will be open Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. for the purpose of Candidate Declaration. The deadline to submit Declaration of Candidacy forms is no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 17, 2021*. Candidate qualifications can be found in UCA 20A-9-203. *Heber City’s participation in the Ranked Choice Voting pilot program eliminates the need for a primary election, therefore, the candidate filing dates for Heber City are later than other municipalities.
